11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive. Jeremiah 29:11-14
God has made promises to us and He never fails to see them through. Fred had his two year check up and he is still cancer free. This is what I call a Christmas present. He has given us a clear answer to our prayers with lasting effect. Please take time to Thank our Lord for His goodness and for Fred and his continued good health. It is encouraging that we can count on God hearing our prayers for anything we ask of Him. The same way He delivered Fred from the pit of cancer, He can and will deliver all those that know Him and call out to Him from the pits in their lives. Prayer is the tool and I encourage you to use it.

Hey Everyone,
Praise God! For He is greatly to be praised, He is good and Fred is cancer free! This is joyful news and an answer to our entire combined chorus of prayers over the past year. I have known in my heart that this day would come, but it is better to hear roll off my tongue that I even imagined it would be. Fred has received total healing his body is cancer free.
Once again God is true to His word and has fulfilled His promises for Fred and each of us, by answering our request for complete healing in Fred’s body. Let’s give thank to God our Lord and Savior for all He has done for Fred, Denise, their children, and all of us.
“Pure praying remedies all ills, cures all diseases, relieves all situations, however dire, most calamitous, most fearful and despairing … no case is mortal when Almighty God is the physician.” E. M. Bounds
I urge you all to spend some time thanking God for what he has done. I also ask that you would continue to hold Fred, Denise and family up in your prayers. With this war won if we were to drop them off of the forefront of our prayer lists and time we would be opening them up for a new attack. Pray for continued health and protection, spiritual growth and a time of great refreshing now that the pressure is off their lives. Pray that there would never be any reoccurrence.
I wish to thank all of you for your faithfulness in holding up Fred and Denise and family throughout this entire chapter in their lives. I close with the Prayer from Ephesians chapter 3 which I pray for each of you. jack
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- 19to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Hey Everyone,
It is time once again to try and get Fred through the PET-scan. He is scheduled to have it tomorrow July 5th at 1:00 p.m. It will be the third attempt to get this test done. Let’s pray that they finally get to do the test and that it shows that Fred is totally free from cancer. I don’t know when the results will be in but I will send out the information as soon as Fred lets me know the results.
Pray for Fred and Denise as it is an emotional roller coaster for them each time that the test is scheduled and when the test is actually done waiting for the results. Ask God to give them peace through this time, restful sleep, and hope in their hearts, protection over their home and family, and anything else that the Father puts on your heart to pray.
“The Christian can face the future with a holy optimism knowing that Jesus Christ is victor over all the powers of death, hell, and darkness….To pray for the coming of the kingdom is to pray for the manifestation of deepening fulfillment of the victory of Jesus Christ in the life of the church and the world today as well as at the end of the age.” Donald Bloesch
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20 -21
I want to thank you all once again for all of your love and support of Fred, Denise and their whole family through this time. It is my prayer that I will be letting you know that the test has shown that this chapter in all our lives, but especially in Fred’s. May God richly bless each of you, jack

Hey everyone,
It is finally here again Fred is having the pet-scan tomorrow Friday June 22nd. He called me this afternoon and said he had been e-mailing back and forth with the doctors and the decision is to do the scan. Fred and Denise and the younger children just got back from a camping trip that Fred said was a great time and very restful.
Let’s ask God for test results that reveal that Fred is 100% cancer free. Pray for safe travel, a restful night tonight and an abundance of the Lord’s blessings to be felt by Fred and Denise.
37And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
39Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
“As on the Sea of Galilee
The Christ is whispering ‘Peace.’”
John Greenleaf Whittier
May peace pervade your thoughts and prayer and life, jack

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that Fred’s Pet-scan has been postponed yet again. They have had a sinus infection passing around the house that Fred has caught. Fred emailed the doctors and let them know that he had another infection and asked if they wanted to hold off the test. The doctors opted to wait two weeks to do the test.
The doctors do not want to have another false positive test. They are sure that Fred is cancer free and if he were to test positive do to an infection it would trigger a protocol for a whole bunch of tests that they believe are not necessary. It also would not be good for Fred, Denise and family to go through an unnecessary scare and all the stress associated with that process.
Please keep Fred and Family in your prayers with intensity toward the sinus infection to be healed in Fred and the entire family. Continue to prayer for peace, rest, hope, healing, Joy, and protection for Fred, Denise, and family.
“To think there’s always going to be a quick solution or even a satisfactory-to-us answer is a faulty expectation. Sometimes answers to prayer lie dormant, being fertilized by unceasing prayer. When the seed finally germinates, rapid growth can take place.”
Edith Schaeffer
“Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up….’And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?” Luke 18: 1 & 7
Sometimes our perspective on things isn’t very clear in the big picture this battle against the cancer in Fred seems to have been long and drawn out, yet in the shadow of eternity it has been a brief blip in time. It is important that we do not allow ourselves to become weary or apathetic. We need to keep our hearts and minds set on the goal of hearing the words that Fred is without any cancer in his body.
Thank you, for your continued prayers and well wishes for Fred and family, jack
