Hey Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that Fred’s Pet-scan has been postponed yet again. They have had a sinus infection passing around the house that Fred has caught. Fred emailed the doctors and let them know that he had another infection and asked if they wanted to hold off the test. The doctors opted to wait two weeks to do the test.
The doctors do not want to have another false positive test. They are sure that Fred is cancer free and if he were to test positive do to an infection it would trigger a protocol for a whole bunch of tests that they believe are not necessary. It also would not be good for Fred, Denise and family to go through an unnecessary scare and all the stress associated with that process.
Please keep Fred and Family in your prayers with intensity toward the sinus infection to be healed in Fred and the entire family. Continue to prayer for peace, rest, hope, healing, Joy, and protection for Fred, Denise, and family.
“To think there’s always going to be a quick solution or even a satisfactory-to-us answer is a faulty expectation. Sometimes answers to prayer lie dormant, being fertilized by unceasing prayer. When the seed finally germinates, rapid growth can take place.”
Edith Schaeffer
“Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up….’And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?” Luke 18: 1 & 7
Sometimes our perspective on things isn’t very clear in the big picture this battle against the cancer in Fred seems to have been long and drawn out, yet in the shadow of eternity it has been a brief blip in time. It is important that we do not allow ourselves to become weary or apathetic. We need to keep our hearts and minds set on the goal of hearing the words that Fred is without any cancer in his body.
Thank you, for your continued prayers and well wishes for Fred and family, jack

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Faith does nothing alone - nothing of itself,
but everything under God, by God, through God.

Then Peter came to him and asked,
"Lord, how often should I forgive someone
who sins against me? Seven times?"
"No!, Jesus replied, "seventy times seven!"

Our forgiveness of others becomes
an act of worship that we would
not enter into except for who He is
and for the overwhelming debt
of love we owe Him.
